The Unicorn’s Horn was once a hot and lively pleasure house. Folks would come from miles around to be satisfied by the stable men kept by Gavin Medici, the house’s owner.
Trouble is, the world is ending, and surviving is more important to the brothel’s customers than an evening filled with unspeakable delights. Before long the purveyors of favors find themselves broke, hungry and living in a decaying brothel.
With a simple witchy spell, a visitor who promises to make everything better comes knocking. But demons are unpredictable and often come with hidden agendas.
A little demonic possession and the odd human sacrifice seem like a small price to pay. But is that all it will cost Gavin and his men?

December is our down time, and we seem to do catch up for new authors for us. J.P. Jackson was on my list to check out and review…..In my surfing I saw this series….This idea seemed original and so fun!

As a kid in the 50’s Mom would give us 25 cents for the movies. There was always a serial playing for us kids. We sat for an hour and a western or space ship would hold our attention along with a cartoon. So when I checked out this series, first loving the exotic covers…The blurb had my attention. Reading this I was all in!!!!

This is a dark read and as such contains the following: Sex Workers, Demons, Magic, Off page reference to Human sacrifice, Apocalyptic Setting, Dubious Consent, Past Physical Trauma, Religious Themes, Family Themes, Bondage, Cutting, Blood, Undead, Explicit Sexual Content and Gore!!!!

We open at The Unicorn’s Horn with the owner Gavin Medici pondering the business books. Business had been slowly dwindling as the change in climate not addressed on earth has put the world on its last legs. People struggle just to live and feed their families not having extra to spend for the pleasure palace. Slowly the building it self is past its glory days looking gloomy and old. With the decay of earth all that was hidden have now come to light, Fae, vampires, werewolves, demons, witches have come to the surface.

The owner called by his staff as ‘Sir’ gathers his family and explains what is happening. He cannot afford to keep up the building, the town has stopped his business license for non payment and they are done. The boys all express they have savings and can help, but young Corbin has another idea placing a Magick sigil on their door inviting in a demon.

Thus, the knock at the door, and Sir meets with the Demon who makes him an offer, promising him he can get their license reinstated, will partner with Sir and make plans to upgrade the interior, all the demons sexual desire taken care of by staff and one human sacrifice a year…A hundred year contract ……So we have not made a deal with The Devil……We have made a deal with The Demon.

I am on to Skin Two Sessions – Branded and Bedeviled
