I started this book about 7 pm last night. I read for a few hours and finally put it down. Waking up this morning made coffee and had to finish it….Yes it was so good, yes it was so compelling, Yes I was so invested!!
Davidson King is a great story teller. The choices of this authors work blow me away!!!! I began reading Davidson at Snow Falling and I have Never looked back or been disappointed
So what is a Button Man? We learn it is a trade handed down for generations, passed down from father to child (being politically correct). What they are? They are Hit Men; getting paid for contracts for murder.
Meet Duke. He is the last of his families line…His story was his to tell. He is the last Button Man of is generation. After a horrible loss of his best friend and lover he and his father moved and opened a construction business and he is raising his lovers daughter as his own. And working Hits on the side.
He for the last 10 years Duke has worked with a Handler who is a tekky geek to handle his affairs. They have never met in person but respect and trust each other. So when Duke is called upon by his fathers old friend Ellis to kill a geek called Kelly the sh#t hits the fan…..Oh how I loved this story and you will as well…
