What is so cool about this Jackie Keswick and this new Protector series is the topic , I have already read Book One, meeting Grant. I am aware of the ex-military friendship that had formed and brought the four home and starting a new business in doing what they do best. Having some one at home who is very influential. giving their company high recommendations has kept them now kinda busy.
The four share a rather large home with individual wings for their offices and apartments. Like Grant, Rylan Jeffers is sucked into his next job when nightclub owner Chris Hillyard is beaten within an inch of his life and Rylan takes it personally. He has made finding the culprits while taking a very much personal interest in the man he is protecting.
These are not long novels, the author keeps the pace at a high level and we follow the crumbs dropped to find the answer. It is not without exception that Rylan cannot help feeling more as he gets to know Chris.
Another homerun for the author….I loved it.
