As the king’s only omega son, Prince Aiken has been taught to obey in silence. Kept prisoner in his own home, his only destiny is to accept the alpha his father chooses and produce an heir to the throne.
Then one autumn day, barbarians defeat the king’s army and break into the castle: Aiken is taken hostage and brought to a citadel ruled by the formidable Cairistine lords. Suddenly, Aiken is allowed to look, speak, and roam on his own—and the things he witnesses are both outrageous and marvelous. How come the omegas at the citadel seem so happy? And who are the mysterious lords? What are they?
Bear and Wolf are the last of their kin, the true lords of Cairistine. Their powers have weakened, however, and unless a miracle happens, their sons will be born mere humans. While Bear has his doubts, Wolf believes in legends. If they can find the one omega who’ll give them twin sons from his first heat, the magic in their blood will be revived. None of this is on their minds when they kidnap Prince Aiken—they only want the war to end. But as time passes, the skittish virgin awakens desires in them both. They would never take an innocent omega against his will… but what if they seduce him?

Another simply sweet read from Roe Horvat. This talented author had begun to realize what Omegaverse was, as a branching out in the paranormal genre; took that thought and has successfully ran with it. This new world is gendered into Alphas and Omegas, where breeding a child is in the body of a male omega.

This story different a bit, as it is not in a city with high rises and business people, it is a Fantasy Realm. We begin, meeting Prince Aiken, son of the ruler, who only keeps him to breed after he goes into heat. His father will choose the Alpha to breed him. His wish is Aiken can produce a son to continue the family line for him. Aiken is not spoken to, must keep his eyes averted, and has no life.

One night their castle is attacked and over run by a neighboring realm where Aiken is taken as prisoner. This castle and it’s lands are ruled by two Cairistine Lords. Aiken is brought to his quarters and treated with respect and sees he not treated as he was brought up. He is allowed to go as he pleases, to talk to people, to look people in the eyes, and to watch from above the rulers and their people interact.

The two rulers Bear and Wolf have been watching him from afar. Not only are they Lords they are shifters. In their land there is a story that The Wolf and The Bear need to restore their magic. They will have an omega together and the omega will become pregnant with two babies, one from each Lord and will enhance the species and their magic for ages.

As Horvat lets us hear each POV, we see Aiken and the two Lords enter into a 100 pages of a sexually graphic love story; as this author is famous for….

Loved it!!!!
