If you ave read book # 4, Night Wedding then you will be as excited as I was to read this one since we catch up on Nova, Diego and Gianna and Sebastian. This is Gianna and Sebastian’s story and what a story it is.
Gianna is half siren and half human; her siren side came from her mother who left her and was cruel and didn’t have a maternal bone in her siren body. The love of her life is Sebastian, a wolf shifter and popular chef. Sebastian has no doubt that Gianna is his mate but she can’t seem to accept his bite and he is willing to wait for her for as long as it takes.
Like Gianna, Sebastian had a difficult childhood, he walked away from his pack and never looked back. Always the victim of abuse by the other pack members and always feeling like a failure in the eyes of his parents he found love and acceptance with Gianna and his roommates all of whom we met in book 4.
Everything was going well until Gianna thought she saw sirens and feared her mother and her pod were back. Sebastian had a problem of his own when an old pack mate came to him seeking help in finding his son who ran away. One of his tormentors standing in front of him asking for help, help which he refused to offer until the young shifter came knocking.
The return of Gianna’s mother and Sebastian’s refusal to leave a young shifter alone without helping starts what will be a major problem for the two of them. Sebastian has to bring the young boy back home which means returning to the pack and once again facing his tormentors and his parents. Gianna is facing a curse which she is sure her mom and her pod are responsible for and a curse that ages her to a point where she realizes she might die from old age although in her twenties. That brings her to Sebastian’s pack looking for him and letting him know that she loves him. At the sight of her as an old lady he sees nothing but the mate he loves.
What happens with Gianna and Sebastian you will have to find out for yourself and I guarantee you won’t be sorry.
