A search for a cure. A journey fraught with danger. A fateful bond.

Determined demon-hunter, Maeve, must risk everything to obtain The Book of Raziel—a font of spells, divine magic, and ethereal knowledge—to cure her work partner of a deadly supernatural virus. And though she isn’t surprised to discover that the book is in the Garden of Eden, she is surprised to learn that the garden is situated in Hell!

Now Maeve faces her biggest challenge: fighting her inner demons¬, or be lost to the wanderlust of Hell forever.

Broken and reclusive, Ezra Virunas has one goal—kill the demon who stole the Sacred Seals, and, in return, he would regain his freedom. Never mind that Ezra has to use Maeve’s soul as bait to close the case, Ezra knows just how deceitful women can be, and he is convinced Maeve is no different. But he is mistaken, and despite fighting against it, her pure heart soon becomes a light to his darkened past.

As Maeve and Ezra’s bond deepens, so too does the danger awaiting them. Will they emerge from Hell unscathed?

Love Me To Hell And Back is a haunting tale of self-reflection and forgiveness.

Maeve is a demon hunter plagued with PTSD stemming from seeing her parents killed in front of her and feeling guilt for not saving them, in spite of her being a young child. Now she works finding and killing Jinn with her partner, roommate and best friend Emerich. Emerich is a prophet and when he begs Maeve to refuse an assignment knowing that it would not work out well, she insists and he gives in. Unfortunately, Emerich was right because when she sees a hostage being burned her PTSD rears its ugly head and she misses out when the demon gives Emerich the Devil’s Kiss, a death sentence.

She is determined to find a cure before Emerich dies but it means finding the Book of Raziel, a forbidden book filled with spells that could cause the Apocalypse in the wrong hands and a book whose location is unknown. Nothing is going to stop Maeve even if it requires her to steal from her employers and friends and lie but that is a small price to pay for Emerich’s life. Unknown to Maeve another demon hunter, Ezra Virunas is also in search of The Book of Raziel. Ezra works for The Order and his assignment is to find the book before Levi does, Levi’s desire for the book is world domination. Finding Levi requires Ezra to find the book and then kill him. Ezra saved Levi from The Order and now they have assigned him to kill the man responsible for his debt to them and kill him.

Maeve and Ezra find themselves partnering up both for different reasons but both seeking the same prize. When the location of the book is discovered, it will lead Ezra and Maeve to Hell and survival is questionable. Maeve and Ezra form a bond, a bond that will hopefully keep her from failing when her PTSD kicks in. Fire is her Achilles heel and fire is what Hell is all about. Will her bond with Ezra save her and will she find the book that will save the life of her best friend.

This book is filled with surprises, secrets and romance. Ezra has a secret he doesn’t share and it is quite a secret. There is edge of your seat suspense and it kept me glued and although I hate cliffhangers every once in a while, a series comes along that makes me forget it is a cliffhanger and just makes me want more.
