After her father committed suicide Autumn Hartley decided to relocate to South Carolina and purchased a beautiful plantation home called Allen Hall. Everything was wonderful with her new house which she got at a very cheap price and before long she found out why it was cheap. Autumn was not alone in the house it was also occupied by its original owner Civil War General John Sibley Allen (Sib).

Even after finding out that she was sharing her home with a ghost she did not allow him to scare her. She had no trouble telling him off if he did something she didn’t like and for some reason he did not mind. Sib was shot in the back by Beauregard Dudley a traitor who killed him just before the war ended.

Autumn’s belief in Sib begins to make him more and more solid but things take a turn for the worse when she begins dating Thomas Dudley. Sib is convinced that Thomas is the reincarnated Beauregard the traitor he hates. It is hard to disagree with reincarnation when you are listening to a ghost tell the story.

This was a very sweet story about a human woman who questions her sanity because she is finding herself falling for a ghost and a ghost who finds himself falling for a living woman. Of course what chance is there for a ghost and a living woman but if there is a chance I am not going to reveal it.

A short sweet story worth your time and money.
