If you have been reading this series, then you already know the story of the five women in prison for robbing a bank who are given the chance to become mail-order-brides for time served. If you haven’t read this series not to worry because the author brings you up to date on their story and the only thing you will miss are the wonderful love stories and the individual lives each book covers.

This is Lottie’s story, and she has been chosen by Brodie Campbell to be his wife. Lottie and her twin sister Maisie along with Fiona, Gwen and Ivy have each had their story told following their lives and their pasts each of them having reasons for robbing a bank and Lottie like the rest has a story that was filled with abuse and the eventual reason for her killing her abusive father.

Lottie is the only one that is still a virgin and has never kissed a man, but she is anxious to know what it feels like to be made love to and now she has a husband to hopefully fulfill her dreams. Brodie is happy to have Lottie in his life, but his life is not in a very good place. Brodie has made the mistake of gambling and owes the saloon owner, Jake Flannery $900 and has only a month to repay it. He risks having to go to his brother Ross for the money putting their ranch in danger. He put his desire for money ahead of his family and that is the one thing that Lottie would hate him for since that is what her father did.

As the youngest brother, Brodie believed that by winning a lot of money, he would have something to give to his new wife and future children, a drastic mistake and one he may have to pay heavily for.

As they build a life together Brodie finally admits to Lottie the trouble he is in, and she is not happy, but she wants to help him. The only thing that her father taught her was how to play poker and she could solve all Brodie’s problems by playing against Flannery, winning and covering Brodie’s debt.

Things don’t go as planned, but they seldom do. Loved this book, loved this series and hate that it is over. I can’t recommend this series highly enough, five brothers, five female bank robbers looking for love and a little drama thrown in when the girl’s past coming calling.
