Kade has seven days left to live… unless I do something about it. I am one of the best assassins around, after all. But… I’m not sure I exactly care what happens to Kade. He’s rude, only cares about himself and his casino, and did I mention he doesn’t know a single thing about video games?

Okay, okay. Maybe that’s not enough of a reason to watch him dash headlong into danger while I kick back and enjoy the show.

It’s kind of fun though.

Still, maybe Kade can show me that beneath his icy exterior is a man worth saving. A man worth loving. And maybe even a man worth risking everything for.

Issue is… he only has seven days to do it.

OMG I was so excited to see some of my Favorite authors have joined with a few new to me authors and began a NEW 9 book series !! As of this writing as of May 2, 2023 I have read Book 1 and 2 and started #3….Number 4 is on the Amazon release list shortly…. I will list the Books and Authors and release dates at the end of this review!!!

Reckless Roulette written by Alice Winters is where we learn the premise of the series and what I hoped to have a wonderful time reading. Each book will likely revolve around the bad boys and elite in town holding an invitation to a private key club at an historic hotel in the city.

I have never read Alice Winters, and entering the world she has created for this story made me dislike and feel sorry for Kade at the same time. The local bully mob boss wants the rest of Kade’s Business….This is what Kade has worked for all his mob life……He is self centered, ruthless, angry, mean and he now has 7 days to live.

Len on the other hand is a nerd….but works as an assassin for the mob. Meeting Kade is a big turn off for Len and seeing him at his worst has no desire to even help him until his kind side feels he might will try his best to tame the beast……and see if he can find out why Kade is this way. It was great having Len peel the layers away of a hurt young man who was totally unable to treat the people he knew with any kind of kindness. But they only had 7 days.
