Ravi Abhiramnew’s job is simple: hunt down and neutralize supernatural threats. That is until he meets Cayenne, a charismatic time traveler who claims to know everything about him—even his most closely guarded secrets.
Going to dinner with Cayenne is probably a bad idea, and a romantic island getaway definitely is.
When a monster picks their resort as its hunting ground, Ravi’s combat skills and Cayenne’s time magic should make it a breeze to kill the monster and get their vacation back on track. But it turns out the real danger lurks much, much closer…

Cayenne makes his attraction very clear and when he invites Ravi to take a vacation with him to the Seychelles Ravi agrees. Welcoming time away from monsters and the Trust is a welcome change.
Two separate cabins with Cayenne promising to behave himself while Ravi is not so sure. His hope for no monsters was just a dream because something was wrong when people woke up drunk and blacked out while denying they were drinking. Then a man approaches
Cayenne and Ravi revealing the appearance of something in the water, something that is not normal and could be dangerous.
When Ravi also sees the creature in the water, he knows and accepts the fact that his vacation would not be monster free. Cayenne keeps using his time travel abilities to change anything that he feels is not the way he wants it, an argument with Ravi would be a reason to change the outcome by going back in time.
Cayenne keeps trying to get Ravi out of his shell and loosen up his hope to get him into his bed. Cayenne knows what the future holds, he uses his ability to ensure that Ravi has a wonderful vacation. There is limitless things Cayenne can do by changing time and he is ready, willing and able to do whatever is needed.
Cayenne finally gets what he desires and Ravi winds up in his bed. Ravi realizes that after sex there is no problem about being spent, Cayenne just goes back to the beginning, and they get a do over.
This was an interesting book with monsters, time travel, secrets and surprises. There is more coming and fortunately the next two books in the series are already available so no wait to get answers.
