Death doesn't scare Voodoo practitioner Odette Allemand, but dying sure as hell does. Every time she meets her soulmate, her life ends in a horrific murder.

Then she's reincarnated to have it happen all over again.

Odette is determined to survive this lifetime, but when a sexy werewolf knocks on her door, unearthing emotions she thought she'd buried, her fate is sealed with his enticing kiss.

James Malveaux hasn't seen Odette since junior high, but the moment they reunite, his wolf wants to claim her as his mate.

That's if the monster they've awakened doesn't kill them first.

Without the help of the Spirit of Death, they can kiss their lives goodbye. Can James help Odette make peace with her inner demons and the Spirit? Or will the couple be doomed to the same gruesome ending as their countless lives before?

If you like strong heroines and spooky spirits, you'll love this fast-paced shifter romance!

Odette Allemand died at birth and was given life by Baron Samedi her Guardian Angel. In addition to giving her life he gave her a gift, a gift that would change her life at the age of twelve. Sent to her uncle for lessons on Voodoo she discovered that he was using her and her gift enslaving souls. Unfortunately with the Baron’s assistance she was freeing the souls and something happened that would change her life forever. Odette turned her back on voodoo, her gift the Baron and New Orleans and did not return for sixteen years.

Odette discovered after several past life regressions that each life ended with a horrific death, the death of her and her lover. Now she is convinced that the last thing she should do is fall in love and repeat the past. Her plan not to fall in love sounded feasible until the foreman on the job renovating her new home knocked on the door.

James Malveaux is a wolf shifter who knew Odette in school and when he saw her he felt an instant attraction, an attraction his wolf also felt except for the part where his wolf wanted the girl he had been dreaming about for weeks. James wants Odette as his mate and she knew as soon as she saw him that he was her soul-mate but how can he justify wanting two different women, especially when one of the women he has never seen in person, has no name for and has no idea how to find her.

As soul-mates there is no way that James and Odette can stay away from each other and now more than ever she needs the Baron’s help to break the cycle of death, but he is still keeping his distance from her since she turned on him. If there is any hope of Odette and James living a long and happy life they have to discover who the monster is that keeps killing them and how to destroy it otherwise death waits for them both.

This is actually the first book I have read that involved voodoo as much as this one did and it was quite interesting. I am a person that never says never so although I doubt the voodoo religion I know better than to judge it. If you haven’t read the previous books in this series I highly recommend doing so because each book gets better and better and you would be missing out on some very wonderful paranormal romances.

Voodoo, ghosts, spirit guides, demons, romance, sex and surprises what more could a paranormal romance lover ask for.
