When S.K. Gregory contacted me to review their story in this Series I was up for it,,,,,But decided to read a bit more so I will mention a few I have read as well….

But the first I read was of course the Pre Quel Novel Ms. Gregory has written called Black Hollow. We begin, being introduced to a small town where twin girls Lister and Lore had lived . They were never close as children and Lore ran away as soon as she was able to the Big City. Being notified of her sisters death was shocking along with the cryptic message she received from her now deceased sister. Deciding she had to honor her sister she left immediately and went back to the place she hated the most.

The first night she is back in her grandpa’s home where she and her sister had lived, she nods off from the long drive; this is where we and she enter ‘the twilight zone”. Won’t spoil the surprises.

Waiting in Darkness- Maegan Beaumont Melissa Walker was the town whore’s daughter, her father was the Chief of Police who despised her. Treated like dirt all her life, living in the local shanty mobile home park with her mother was a nightmare of a life. She stayed only because her mother had twin babies she didn’t care for so Melissa did. This story was also a prequel and has others to follow. Frightening brgining

Red Ribbon Murders – Eleana Blake & KillianWrathmore Catrina Heard was following in the footsteps of her deceased father. He was a detective in the local Police Department where after 5 years she worked to be promoted to Sargent. Being woken at 3:34 am in the morning was a bitch, but finding out the person who killed her father who was labeled The Red Ribbon Murderer had either a copy cat or was Back….. Spine chilling

This series at 1056 pages will give me many other wonderful reads.
